Formed in 2024 in Bordeaux, France, Oppression brings together five musicians driven by a shared vision of raw, uncompromising extreme metal.
The debut album, No Safe Place, was released through German label Folter Records in December 2025, blending aggressive black metal, melody and a relentless sense of urgency.
After a first run of shows across South-West France, Oppression is now taking No Safe Place beyond its home ground, with dates in France and abroad throughout 2026–2027, including an appearance at Germany's Under the Black Sun Festival.
